2016年1月21日 As time passes

It has been awhile since I've last posted anything. So much for having Repugnant Thoughts Everyday. It's a good thing I changed it to "Everyday?" instead of "Everyday." The distinction matters, at least in my opinion, but then again whose opinion really matters beyond my own? I write one-sided articles for disembodied readers. It's not like I can see what your face looks like, or determine your level of understanding. Everything is just my thoughts alone and perception of others' thoughts. No, I really can't say for sure if my opinion matters more than another here. My opinion is the only one present, but that doesn't imply that my opinion is right or wrong or that is it the dominant opinion. It just is; therefore, I'll just get to it.

For awhile now I've been wondering about life. Obviously being away from blogging gives one time to do those things. Unfortunately sometimes I circle back to the darkest and most fucked up things on the internet. Efukt is one of those things.

www.efukt.com is basically the ogrish/live-leak of porn. But I'll let them explain themselves with their own words:
Adult humor for adults, Makers of Lulz. Shocking Humor, Porn bloopers, Porn Fails, Cam Whores, Amateur Porn and more.
No surprise in terms of what you'll see, such as the woman who can prolapse her vagina to reveal her cervix. I am not joking here folks. You can see it here HERE (NSFW).

Should I bother having kids?
After seeing that vid on efukt?
In any case, it should be noted that when I watch videos like this, I wonder if it's even necessary to reproduce. Certainly like kind of behavior is going to continue, but it makes me wonder.

Whose daughter is that? Whose son (or daughter) is the cameraman? Why would people pay to watch this?! What happened in this woman's life where this is something she is willing not only to do, but to do it on camera?

When I ask these questions, and do not explore answers, I still come to the same conclusion: if this is the risk I run of being a parent - having kids like this - I might as well not ever have children, in spite of the fact that I would like them.

As I get older, not much wiser, and even more confused, I run the risk of never coming to any significant conclusions other than: I will pay taxes (one way or another), I will probably continue work/study and eventually stop, and I will die. The latter of which is probably the only real guarantee in life, at least as the present moment.

Beyond those things, I can't really the time I've spent away has been wasted from this blog. I can't at this time discuss anything that's going on in my life, so I'll just go over some of the less personal things that are happening.

Some of the stranger things that have happened to me over the recent years was being able to see Gary Numan, whom I've written about before here on this blog, but rarely tours these days.

Beyond that I got drunk with a neighbor, and in street on the way home from a bar we grappled in the street. I didn't realize my knee was hurting until I went to bed that night.

I guess that about sums up my life: What happened to a woman who needs to show off her prolapsing vagina, Gary Numan, and grappling.

2014年12月05日 Call 911 AND DIE!!

I saw this video the other day and though, "Yeah that's pretty much it." Even though some of the videos have nothing to do with "call[ing] cops".

Or this...

2012年6月4日 "I Am So Happy to Finally Be Back Home"

Khil in 1965
Eduard Khil, 1934-2012, died today.
He's famous for the "Trololo" song, which in actuality is titled, I Am So Happy to Finally Be Back Home.

Who is going to tro(ll) lo(l)lo us now? I'm going to miss listening to people who can make me laugh, or at least help me make them laugh. It's important to have a sense of humor or if humor ever has a sense of you. In either case, I'll just have to trololo my way through today.

See ya later Mister Trololo,
I hope you made it home.

2012年5月29日 FUCK! ZOMBIES!

“We have seen, already, three or four cases that are exactly like this where some people have admitted taking LSD and it’s no different than cocaine psychosis,” Aguilar said.

Man CHEWS off other man's face. Here's the kicker. They're naked!

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami police are asking anyone who may have witnessed a nude man biting off pieces of another nearly naked man’s face on the MacArthur Causeway over the weekend to come forward.

An officer came across the men shortly after 2 p.m., when police responded to a 911 call about two naked men fighting on a bike path along the Causeway. The fight was taking place at the causeway exit near the Miami Herald building.

BOOM!
HEAD SHOT
The amazed officer tried to stop it and ordered the man making a meal out of the other man to stop. When the blood covered man refused to stop and turned toward the officers and growled, the officer shot him. The Medical Examiner has identified the man as 31-year old Rudy Eugene.

Since news of the unthinkable attack first broke, the big question has been, Why? Why did the man attack the other? Why were they naked? Why did the attacker turn into a cannibal on the causeway?

Some believe he was under the influence of heavy drugs.

The head of the Miami Fraternal Order of Police, Armando Aguilar, said cases related to the type of drugs known as “bath salts” are not new locally.

“We have seen, already, three or four cases that are exactly like this where some people have admitted taking LSD and it’s no different than cocaine psychosis,” Aguilar said.

In the cases Aguilar mentioned, he said the people have all taken their clothing off, been extremely violent with what seemed to be super-human strength, even using their jaws as weapons.

Emergency room doctors at Jackson Memorial Hospital said they too have seen a major increase in cases linked to the street drug called “bath salts” or what Aguilar described as “the new LSD.”

“We noticed an increase probably after Ultra Fest,” said emergency room Dr. Paul Adams, at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

In many of the cases, Dr. Adams said the person’s temperature has risen to an extremely high level, they’ve become very aggressive, with logic and the ability to feel pain lost in their reactions. Some have used their jaws as a weapon during attacks.

Dr. Adams said the patients were in a state of delirium.

“Extremely strong, I took care of a 150 pound individual who you would have thought he was 250 pounds,” Dr. Adams said. “It took six security officers to restrain the individual.”

Adams said the extreme strength and violence of patients on “bath salts” has become a significant threat to all those charged with the task of trying to help those high on the drug.

“It’s dangerous for the police,” Adams said. “It’s dangerous for the fire fighters. It’s dangerous for the hospital workers taking care of them because they come in, they have to be restrained both chemically and physically and you’re asking for someone to get hurt.”

Dr. Patricia Junquera, medical director of Jackson Memorial Hospital’s detox unit, said she’s never seen any case of cannibalism from the drugs, but that some form of naked psychosis with drugs is common.

“They feel they’re Superman; they have special powers,” Dr. Junquera said. “I’ve seen it with spice. I’ve seen it with bath salts. It could increase the impulsivity of any person.”

Tuesday, photos purportedly showing Poppo’s mutilated face spread through social media. The photos appear to have been taken while Poppo was under medical care.

“Anytime we find anything that is a violation of patient privacy, we definitely do an investigation,” said Jackson Health System spokesman Ed O’Dell. “However, we cannot the authenticity of these pictures. We have not violated the privacy of this patient.”

Eugene is believed to have been homeless. His last address is a home in North Miami Beach. The people who live there now didn’t know Eugene, but neighbors remember him.

“The only thing I remember was he was a quiet boy,” said Micheline Barret.

Barret said Eugene moved out several years ago, but she never forgot the boy next door.

“I was shocked because I knew him, you know in the area,” said Barret who added that she used to give him rides when he needed it.

Eugene had several run-ins with police before, mostly for drug related offenses, trespassing and resisting arrest without violence.

Ives Eugene, 55, told the Associated Press that he was Rudy Eugene’s uncle, described his nephew as a “nice and hard-working” man who washed cars at a local dealership.

In a telephone interview, Eugene said his nephew had asked his girlfriend to borrow her car, but she said no.

“So he rode the bicycle, and he never came back home,” Ives Eugene told the Associated Press.

CBS4′s Gio Benitez reached out to Rudy Eugene’s ex-wife, but she declined to speak about her ex-husband or the cannibal incident.

2012年4月30日 Poor choice

This morning I was watching the news, and they showed the photo of a kid who tragically died by getting hit by a bus. The family apparently supplied this photo of their now dead eleven year old son.

"I tried to 'catch a bus.' It caught me!"
Seriously. If your son dies from a bus, would you supply a photo like above?

Now don't get me wrong! I'm not angry, disappointed or shocked. I think it's fucking hilarious! It sucks the parents lost their son, but the picture paints an even stronger feeling of emotion: laughter, and happiness. So yeah, I'm happy they put this photo up, because it reminds me that this kid regardless of being a "good kid" or not, he looked like he had a sense of humor. We need more people with a sense of humor, or foots will go up asses [URL].

2012年4月12日 Beer me up

Article:

Drinking Alcohol May Significantly Enhance Problem Solving Skills

Scientists found that men who drank two pints of beer or two glasses of wine before solving brain teasers were quicker in delivering correct answers.
Drinking alcohol may enhance a person’s problem solving skills, according to a new study.
Scientists found that men who either drank two pints of beer or two glasses of wine before solving brain teasers not only got more questions right, they also were quicker in delivering correct answers, compared to men who answered the questions sober.
Scientists found that participants with a BAC of 0.07 or higher solved 40 percent more problems than their sober counterparts and took 12 seconds to complete the tasks compared to 15.5 seconds by teetotal participants.
While the latest findings go against the traditional beliefs that alcohol impairs analytical thinking and rational thoughts, lead author Professor Jennifer Wiley of the University of Illinois at Chicago discovered that alcohol may enhance creativity problem solving by reducing the mind’s working memory capacity, which is the ability to concentrate on something in particular.
“Working memory capacity is considered the ability to control one’s attention,” Wiley told the Federation of Associations in Behavioral and Brain Sciences (FABBS). “It’s the ability to remember one thing while you’re thinking about something else.”
While the latest study found that alcohol may enhance creative problem solving, previous research found that increased working memory capacity actually led to better analytical problem-solving performance.
Researcher from the current study published in the journal Consciousness and Cognition also found that people who drank alcohol and had a blood alcohol level of 0.07 or higher were worse at completing problems that required attentional control but better at creative problem solving tests.
However, the surprising discovery was that participants with a BAC of 0.07 or higher solved 40 percent more problems than their sober counterparts and took 12 seconds to complete the tasks compared to 15.5 seconds by teetotal participants.
Wiley said that the key finding was that being too focused can blind a person to novel possibilities and a broader, more flexible state of attention may be helpful for creative solutions to emerge.
“We have this assumption, that being able to focus on one part of a problem or having a lot of expertise is better for problem solving,” Wiley said. “But that’s not necessarily true. Innovation may happen when people are not so focused. Sometimes it’s good to be distracted.”
Wiley noted that the findings only apply to people who had only a few drinks and not when people drink to extremes.
“The bottom line is that we think being too focused can blind you to novel possibilities, and a broader, more flexible state of attention is needed for creative solutions to emerge,”
Other experts said while the findings were interesting and made sense, they stressed that sleep is probably just as beneficial for enhancing creativity.
Past research showed that people who were allowed to sleep after being given a problem were also more likely to come up with a creative solution compared to those who stayed awake.

Beer me up!
Articles like this remind me that drinking regardless of what anyone says is part of our culture, society, and communities. And more over, part of life! If you have not been drunk at least 4 times, buzzed 4 times, and feeling great 4 times from beer, you will/may never understand why this article has meaning.

Of course, it also depends on how far you spread these things out and whether or not you're a biased person. A teetotaler might read this article and say, "Well I don't care what they find out, and I don't believe that..." Who are they to say that? Are they a scientist? Who is anyone to say, "Your work is bullshit." Until evidence can prove otherwise, the data cannot prove its theory without a shadow of a doubt. Whenever an action or theory or objective provides a shadow of doubt, it's hard to believe if it's true or not, so of course more data needs to be taken or steps need to be taken so that the actions or theory comes without doubt or next to none.

With that said, I think alcohol does help. It helps me at least, and anyone who disagrees with that obviously hasn't drunk a few with me at least 3 or 4 times (at home, bars, outside, etc).

Beer allows for gender equality
because everyone can get drunk
Some people might say, "I don't want to drink that much." Why? What is "that much."? Not even the article explains what a "few" drinks means. We do know this, they didn't say "one" drink. They did not say, "a couple" or two drinks. They said a "few," which means 3 or more.

So why not drink? Why try to be in control all the time, when the only person you can control is yourself? And even if you control yourself, are you as yourself controlling yourself or just suppressing yourself? Is a small part of you controlling the rest of you? Or is the large part of you controlling the smallest? The same could be said with the application of alcohol or anything else for that matter. Do I let something inanimate and small like alcohol, control my life? Or do I control the alcohol? But like most things in life, it should be scrutinized on a case-by-case basis. And taken in moderation, which is something only you can decide for you.

Either way, the article is awesome, and basically reminds me why beer is awesome, important, but also, surprisingly, not necessary. We don't need beer, but it's nice to know we have a choice, and having a wide selection of beer makes the choice a lot nicer. Especially when we can share our choices with the ones we love.

2012年2月6日 Woah

What a well done video. It basically covers issues I'm already aware of, especially with towns like Sderot. Frankly speaking, whenever I heard Muslims talking like the one's in the video, especially from a religious point, I almost cringe.

It's kind of sad that if I showed this to people at school they would say everything in the video is "Bullshit." Of course those same people would see a video like below and consider it tolerable (NSFW, GRAPHIC VIOLENCE)

Fools, danace with me again...

Militant Islam, militant religions, or militant political ideas of any kind always remind me of desperateness that is often associated with hatred, sometimes boredom, but usually the latter is reserved for people who are HIGHLY intelligent or extremely bored.

If you've been watching the news you know things are getting worse!

2012年1月23日 Places in Africa

If Toto's Africa doesn't immediately come to mind, it should.

Somehow I can't imagine being in Africa over the next decade, unless it's to hunt penguins in South Africa. I have it all planned out, it'll be my reenactment of the D-Day beaches of Normandy. Yes I hate penguins that much. Unless I can charge people to watch Rosie O'Donnell fight Roseanne Barr to the death to decide who will eat 'em like discount Twinkies.

If that doesn't take me to Africa, my fascination with weddings and guns would probably bring me there, and from the picture below it looks like they know how to have a good time.

Unlike Visa, whose slogan "It's Everywhere You Want to Be"
Africa, isn't one of those places.
Make sure to spot:
  • The owner of Lassie's African counterpart.
  • The guy who still plays with Barbie dolls.
  • Captain Turquoise.
  • Captain 70's-Motorcycle, without the motorcycle.
  • The army kid who has seen, but not played, Counter-Strike and is "wiggin" out.
  • The buff dude walking to his groom.

    Africa: keeping the 80's alive.
Somehow I expect to see shit like this on Portlandia. I must say, though, I love weddings.

And if you think what you've just saw was pretty messed up, you should Google "General Butt-Naked"

    Hat-tip: Grillman

    2012年1月19日 Fun things

    Fun thing 1
    Precursor to the Mossad
Today I was invited over for this upcoming Passover, which solves my plans for that. I was initially depressed, because I couldn't figure out if I was going to be able to participate or not, since the shul I go to was going to charge people to enter the feast. But alas, I was invited, and now I'm a happy camper, still without a tent, but still happy.

    Cookies will kill you
    Fun thing 2
It should be no surprise that ninjas are awesome and will get you laid, assuming you're a ninja. If not, you may be seconds away from death. Now you can make yourself some Ninja action cookies. Everyone loves Ninjas, even Jews. In fact the reason the Mossad is called that is because "Ninjas" was already taken.

    Things that suck
I have to wake up at 4am tomorrow and it's 10pm now.
I need to do laundry at some point.

    2012年1月18日 Wikipedia continued

    Go buy  Drano®!
When we use the internet, we should think about the following:

"So when you want to talk about the consumer, let’s talk about you and me. We use this internet for communication. We’re not using it for commercial purposes. We’re not earning anything by going on that internet." - the late (i.e. no longer early), Ted Stevens

Today I tried going on Wikipedia this morning during the blackout, and I noticed it would redirect me, away from the page, blocking my information automatically. To get around this, my garbage-nerd-brain kicked into high gear. How do I get around annoying things on websites, especially when I still want to use them?

    The answer: the Esc(ape) key

How to do it: press Esc as soon as your page loads before the blackout screen takes over, if you are too late, just refresh the page and try again. This works for a number of websites, especially those pesky porno sites that like to load pop-ups and massive amounts of porno popping up everywhere. But I digress.

    Use it to download porn!
After solving this, I realized Wikipedia has just turned into horseshit, as I could still read things in English without having to worry about waiting 24 hours until the blackout was lifted.

Hell, even Craigslist is on the bandwagon of the blackout, however since I could remember the URL or could look it up for sections that are useful to me (casual encounters), I decided to give it a shot. Viola~ http://portland.craigslist.org/sss/ And it works, even though the shitty homepage is somewhat blocked.

It never ceases to amaze me how simple it is to get around things or how to annoy people. One does not have to try very hard, and it's especially easier with Ted Stevens, er, rather the recorded voice of the still late Ted Stevens.

If you've seen it already, watch it again.

    2012年1月17日 Wikipedia blacksout

According the Huffington post, and myriad of other news agencies:
"[...]Wikipedia will black out its English-language pages for a 24-hour period beginning Wednesday morning[.]"

So much for looking up the meaning of donkey punch.

    2012年1月11日 Free stuff again

This time I heard some cool shit, "Sit in the class, I don't mind." Awesome. Hella awesome, then I realized sitting in that class is literally like taking 6 straight solid hours of a single language at once.

When I looked at my schedule, weighing the pros and cons (more class for free more or less, vs more opportunities for work), I just stared at the wall. I thought about those little things in life.
Like women's legs or small wrists.

Or when I read about the woman with "two vaginas".

US war woe: Suicide kills more soldiers than combat:
When guns fall silent and ceasefires are agreed, wars live on in the minds of the men and women who fought them. And a killer still stalks them, more deadly than the enemies they once faced.
Being in a conflict environment is killing US soldiers. But surprisingly, the biggest killers are not enemy combatants.
For the second year in row, more US soldiers killed themselves than were killed in combat. In 2010, 468 soldiers took their own lives, compared to 462 killed in fighting.
And even off the battlefield, suicide rates continue to soar.
Matthis Chiroux is an Afghanistan war veteran turned anti-war activist.
“I unfortunately inhabit the demographic in the United States that kills itself, pretty much more than any other out there,” he told RT. “We come home feeling terrible, despicable about what we did and what we saw.”
Chiroux is one of thousands returning from deployment feeling detached and conflicted.
“The laws of decency don't apply to soldiers in combat and when you go back to having to apply those laws to yourself all the time that, for many, leads either to the grave or to jail,” he explains.
An average of 18 veterans per day commit suicide and many more attempt it. Last year, 20 per cent of America’s 30,000 suicides was a soldier or veteran.
Dr. Jan Kemp, a director of the National Mental Health Program, says many soldiers come back feeling disconnected from the world in which they once lived.
“It kind of accumulates in disaster. You really start to wonder if you're ever going to be who you were again,” she explained to RT. “Then all of a sudden, they're back. Things happened in their families while they were gone. The situation they come back to is often not the same as when they left.”
In fact, many come back to bleak situations.
A quarter of the homeless in America are military veterans. The unemployment rate among vets hovers above 12 per cent.
Meanwhile, campaigns such as “Army Strong” glorify life as a soldier, and aim to entice America’s young men and women to enlist.
Since retiring from the army, Matthis Chiroux has been committed to showing students the other side of the army experience – the side recruiters fail to mention.
“The unfortunate thing is [what they show] is not the military experience. It’s an advertisement,” he explains to a group of young people who have come to listen to his talk.
It’s all part of the “We are not your soldiers” lecture tour. His message is clear. – “Don't become one of us!”
It is a message he hopes will prevent more students and young people from becoming another grim statistic.
     ***
That shit kind of sucks doesn't it?
Maybe if our soldiers had access to some buttery muthafuckin' waffles... Just maybe.

    Thoughts anyone?

    2011年12月18日 Consistency

People watching TV used to say Mubarak was a bad person and needed to be removed. They used to say the protests were a good thing. In fact, over time without the support of the military which did nothing (too dramatic), the protesters would not have seemingly overthrown Mubarak.

So with Mubarak gone, why does this happen?

I used to think people saying "This guy is an asshole!" just because the Daily-Show or some other program told them to believe it, including Fox News viewers as well, were just uneducated. Now I think they're insane. Nothing really changes in life. Actually things do change, but they will get worse if they are without a huge justifiable actions that might include a sacrifice.

It would help people who supported the protesters originally to at least continue supporting them, instead of giving up because the military is now cracking down. Consistency anyone?

    2011/11/18

    2011年11月17日 Fucking occupy

    Just as Malcolm X said,
"It doesn't mean that I advocate violence, but at the same time, I am not against using violence in self-defense. I don't call it violence when it's self-defense, I call it intelligence."
    Dress to impress.
Occupy protesters were evicted from their parks this last weekend. What the fuck? Don't they know what a fucking Hoplite phalanx is? Most of these poor, and dumb, bastards believe in Greek philosophy. Yet, none of them believe in the tactics. How does that shit work? Usually respected philosophies are the ones that have battle proven tactics to sustain thoughts like that. They don't even NEED to run, or fight.

I can't even believe many of these protesters would cringe if I said that. Of course the park they occupied was more like Tim Burton's wet-dream after being left in the toilet for 10 weeks (no flushing).

    In other news.
Some shy French guy hit on me.
    What's up with that shit?
How can a French dude be French if:

    A) He doesn't smoke.
    B) He's not complaining.

    I need more sleep.

2011年11月12日 Dirty Hippies and Catholic cannibals

Tonight at 12:00 AM, Sunday morning, a bunch of dirty hippies will be told to leave the camp they've established due to police cracking down on them. I hope they get gassed and beat down.

    In other news:
Today I went to a new - to me - shul that does prayers for the State of Israel and the USA. Somehow a conversation ended up talking about how the Eucharist is just another way to drink the blood of a Jewish carpenter and eat his flesh. Huh. Why is cannibalism a bad thing again? Catholics seem to have no problem with it.

    2011年9月10日 "Life is complicated."

Within the past few days people have been going out of their way to tell me about 9-11.

First of all 9-11 wasn't that bad, at least not for me. I know people who were more concerned about what happened in Fukushima than they were about 9-11. I'm specifically talking about Americans more worried about Japanese. That's how detached some of us are at times, including myself. As for the actual day of 9-11, I'd probably forget about it if it wasn't such a big deal for a lot of people, whom I don't know beyond cordially. Personally the Friday of that week was a day that I won't forget. September fourteenth was the day I had a really difficult test, and I couldn't get any studying done because everyone was freaking out over 9-11.

So was it really that bad?
Yeah the test was pretty bad, but let's get back to 9-11.

It was bad, pretty bad, - 9-11 that is - but I think what is worse is how we've as a nation (the U.S.) have reacted to it. Our economy sucks and we've basically functioning on self-sufficiency at any cost. Sometimes it goes to the point of blasphemy against the memorial of those who suffered, such as those during the events of 9-11. Sometimes it goes beyond just that date itself. Sometimes that blasphemy is with us in our daily lives, happening against our friends, neighbor's, and worse: our own beliefs.

So how am I going to remember 9-11?
How do you try to remember?

Tomorrow I'm going to play GTA IV.
    That's how.

2011年8月14日 "But I did not shoot the deputy"

That may-be true, but you did stab his face with a pencil.

There are some people who believe that once you become a criminal, labeled as one through a conviction, or worse, jailed with charges later dropped/acquitted, you are forever labeled a criminal. In my opinion, these people are usually no different than most people, the only difference is that they were caught.

The following article shows, to me at least, that even in captivity one can still maintain a degree of humanity. And I don't mean for the pictured fella below.

HILLSBORO [Oregon] -- A Washington County jail guard was stabbed in the face with a pencil Sunday by an inmate.
    Here's a picture of
    the herpa derp who
    attacked the deputy.
The deputy was in a jail wing when the inmate came up behind and stabbed him in the face, according to sheriff's office spokesman Sgt. David Thompson.
During a fight with the inmate, three other inmates jumped in to help the deputy, Thompson said. A fifth inmate then joined the fight, attacking the deputy. Several more guards arrived and ended the fight, he said.

Three other inmates jumped into help the deputy? Holy shit, that's ballsy.
I can't imagine these people are going to make a lot of new friends out in the yard. Nonetheless good-job for those three. Brown-nosing or not, stopping violence and violent cowardice of the attacker is commendable to some degree.

The report goes on to state that deputy is okay and safe.

No. Seriously, don't pick it up.
Ideally the jail staff should put Mr. Herpa D'Derpin in a cell with our friend here on the left.
We can tell from this picture that all our friend really wants is someone to listen to him, while he philosophizes about the quality of life or lack thereof.
As for the other guys who helped, well, whatever they did they're still doing time. And I say, let them do it, and let them come back into society. Assuming they're reading to come back into society.

It's a shame we do not have a conscript force like the Légion étrangère, although the rules have changed for the Legion, it would still be nice if the USA had their own version.

So in lieu of resolution: let's blame this event on the real criminals like democrats, tea-party, republicans, Chuck Norris, Alex Jones, G-d, atheists, Ben Bernacke, arthritis, Obama, the movie Fight Club, Bush Jr., Abraham Lincoln, the movie The Notebook, Roosevelt (the first one), von Braun, and unborn white kids.

    2011年8月12日 "Fuck" #003

I usually don't like making posts that use such language. Okay well maybe half of the time. Actually it depends on how I'm saying it and why, so I guess about a 1/5 of the time. But that other 80 percent fucking deserves it.

Recently I got news about an abroad program. I was accepted, but I didn't receive a scholarship, which more or less makes the final decision on whether or not the program is financially do-able. Part of me was devastated, as this really puts my career goals in a bind, if not trash. As for the other part of me, I couldn't help but laugh inside, thinking that somehow I deserved this. The way this affected my career goals just made me laugh more due to the seriousness.

The smile didn't come off my face for awhile, although when it did, I could only frown for a bit. Yet  all the while when I thought about how other things* in the world were going, I could help but smile and laugh inside again, thinking "Fuck." the whole time.

The above video is a literal interpretation
of what I'd like the voice of my laughter be
    along with gestures and mannerisms.

    In the news:
An 84-year-old woman was severely beaten at a MAX station leaving her bruised, a deep cut to her head and a broken nose.
Muriel, who did not want her last name used, was sitting on a bench at the Cleveland Avenue stop waiting for a bus when police say 19-year-old Cordarius Deshawn Jeffreys came up to Muriel and repeatedly punched her in the head with closed fists.
“He would come right at you and just sit there for just a second and then put out (his hands) start beating your head as hard as he can. That’s what he did,” Muriel said.
Police said Jeffreys was harassing women at the MAX stop just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

More bullshit on the issue here.

I have serious questions regarding this issue:
    1. Seriously?
    2. At 2:30pm an 84 year old woman gets beat down?
    3. Seriously?
    4. What the hell is up with that shit?
When I first saw the article I was like, "I bet this is in Gresham." Low and behold, I was right. So really it all makes sense now. Gresham is not a safe place for 84 year old women.

Another woman was hurt while trying to help defend Muriel but not nearly so badly.
After the attack, police said Jeffreys walked off the MAX platform. When police confronted him, they say Jeffreys resisted arrest and they had to deploy a Taser to subdue him.
Wait, what the fuck? No one except another woman went to help? How the hell does that make sense?

Example on why it does not make sense, and here's a Hollywood version of what happened:

Enter assailant: "Hi, I'm a young angry black man. I grew up under rough conditions, and because society doesn't understand me I'm going to beat old Jewish women."

Enter only witness-to-do-something-other-than-watching: "Hello, I'm just an average woman who thinks women's lib means we're all equal. I don't believe in violence, but I need to do something to stop this guy."

Enter police after do-something-other-than-watching woman fails: "We're the police, we like shooting people because we're all republicans who hate democrats, blacks, and homosexual animals. Let's tazer him, bro!"

No this isn't a movie I would end up actually watching, but yes I would wiki it then read the plot with my "meh"-face. I'm totally disappointed that NO ONE manned up for the Jew-lady.

If by this point you think I'm over-reacting, look at KGW's article on the issue:

"He started beating on me," said Muriel.  "On my head, on my head, as hard as he could go."

Muriel suffered a broken nose, bruises around her eyes, and a cut on her head.  Witnesses estimate she was hit nearly 20 times.

"I thought I was going to die," said Muriel.
At least the witnesses can count.
    This guy can count too!
The only realistic questions I have at this point are pretty much the same as a guy* who posted a comment on the issue,
"Just curious. If someone was leagally [sic] carrying a handgun and this was going on in front of him, would using a firearm in that case be legal?? Law mentions things like eminent danger of you or someone around you. A guy[*] like that could easily kill an old woman with his fists, but I wonder if you did pop a couple rounds into him, would you be the one in jail?"

*Yes it's a guy, it's always a guy. Or a butch lesbian, who also doubles as a FTM guy on Craigslist's casual encounters.

So much for going green with riding the light-rail, train, bus, and endangered animals. I thought this shit was supposed to be worth it.
